2. Using Pitool and steam VR to adjust IPD (58mm-72mm)

(1)Open Pitool and start Steam VR.

(2)Through Steam VR to get the desktop on the headset.

Step A : You can turn up and down the position of the headset by adjusting the headstrap, getting the clearest image while adjusting. Besides, please fix the headstrap which ensures that the strap is in still position; then adjust the knob by turning left and right to get the sharp image.

Step B (Physical adjustment) : Adjust the IPD adjustment knob at the right bottom of the headset to get the clearest image. The optical lens of the headset has a certain self-adaptive pupil distance, and the clearest image can be adapted within 3mm.

Alternative Step C (software adjustment): After attempting the second step, if you still find the eyes could not overlapping at a distant object in the binocular screen, such as the top of a mountain or a star in the distance, you can adjust the IPD offset value and screen vertical offset value from the Pitool (expected to be released at the end of the month.) settings where you are able to select left or right, dragging the slider to move to the coincidence of the object points until you get the sweet spot.
